🖤💚🤍Brothers Quincey and Alphonse making their debut at EFC 2026 - European Flyball Championship at 22 months of age! A bit of a family affair with Daddy Boone running with Tails We Win Flyball Teams. Oncle Voltaire also with FF Black, Sister Lyrical running with FF Gold and Grand-père Ourson also running with FF Gold. 🤍💚🖤

🖤💚🤍Our last EFC experience for some of our members was in 2014 and this year we decided to venture across to Germany last weekend and drive across the UK, France, Belgium, The Netherlands and then Germany.

A small team with one aim; enjoy the experience and see what happens. A few members have competed at EFC since 2009 under High Flyers but most of the club are newer members who have only known indoor racing.

All planned and ready to go… Height dog comes into season and it seemed like it was an unlikely trip to Germany. Do we go or just pull out? This was the conversation the weekend before… After much discussion we decided to go but to pull a team. Thanks to Joe from Tails for arranging two height dogs for both our teams from Akela 🇭🇺. Also thanks to Zsolt and Eszter for organising and liaising with Joe. So Black and Gold would compete; with Nyx and Mariann from Akela running in Black and Minnie and Tünde in Gold.

We are so very grateful that these two dogs allowed us to compete and share the experience of EFC. A great time was had and a good run out for the dogs. Flyball at its best!

🖤💚🤍A little club with a big heart. EFC 2026 is a big thing for us as we haven’t competed outdoors since 2014! Huge thanks to everyone who has supported us and we are so very grateful to you all. Our journey has been long and not been without huge complications.
Thanks to Joe and his advice to meet Akela to join with us to ensure we can give the best possible performance possible.

For us it’s a journey and trying to represent our club at their best. Talk to people and just enjoy the experience. Seeing old faces and meeting many new has been a great experience. Happy racing everyone. 🤍💚🖤
