As part of their Autumn learning, the children in the kiwi room have been weighing natural autumn items. The children had to count how many objects would help balance the scale.

Today in the Kiwi Room the children are continuing their learning about Autumn. The Children got to take part in Conker rolling.

Today in the Lavender room the children have had lots of fun mixing black paint and shaving foam. Once they had finished mixing, we took prints of there mark to make Moons.

Today the lavender room have been enjoying mixing colours.

Today in the kiwi room the children made their own soup. They chopped and prepped the vegetables. 😊

Today in the Kiwi Room, the children have been continuing their exploration of the story Handa's Surprise. The children have been exploring the African culture. After looking at pictures of people whom live in Africa, the children watched some traditional African tribal dances. The children then created their own drums to try having a go at some of the dance moves. 🪘

This Morning in the Lavender Room the children are exploring sand. the are exploring what happens when sand gets wet and trying to build sandcastles with wet and dry sand.

The children have been exploring the book Handa's Surprise. Using the fruit that Handa takes to her friends the children made fruit kababs. They practiced their knife skills by chopping up each of the different fruits before threading them on to their skewer.
