🏅🐕 Well done to Taylor L. who recently completed at the Junior Open Agility World Championships! It was a very successful week, with Taylor and her team winning the overall team Gold and becoming Small Team World Champions.

Taylor and her dog Asher also recently represented Team England at the World Agility Open (WAO) in the Netherlands. This was a fantastic achievement and another valuable step in building Taylor and Asher’s international experience.

Ten cadets spent an unforgettable six days at Beckingham Camp, taking on everything from high ropes, kayaking and live firing to military skills, fieldcraft and competition events 💪

A highlight of the week was the overnight exercise, where our senior cadets stepped up to lead 46 fellow cadets through patrols, ambushes and section attacks. Kimbolton also finished an impressive seventh out of 15 CCF contingents.

A fantastic week of teamwork, leadership and resilience – with plenty of lessons learned in the summer heat!

In the summer term, Year 10 pupils took part in an all day Feltmaking workshop, lead by the felt artist Heidi Street-Ward.

It was a fantastic opportunity to learn from a professional artist, build new creative skills and experience a different approach to contemporary art and textiles.

⚽️A successful first season for Kimbolton Town Colts U12 football team. Kimbolton parent, Stephen H. set up this team last year along with another parent Iain to allow a number of Prep Year 6 boys to continue playing grassroots football when they moved to the Senior School.

The team had a fantastic first season gaining promotion and finishing second in their league. They also managed to make it to a league final and became champions winning 2-0!

Congratulations to all the Year 7 boys involved in this team and for all their hard work this season.

What an incredible year it’s been for Kimbolton Sport!

Throughout the 2025/26 academic year, 810 pupils proudly represented the school in 962 fixtures across 213 teams. From training sessions to match days and competitions, our pupils have demonstrated outstanding commitment, teamwork and determination.

A huge thank you to our dedicated sports department for all their hard work and support to ensure our pupils have the opportunity to thrive both on and off the field.

Our last Future Friday Breakfast talk was given by Sheli Gupta, an and is a technology entrepreneur.

He spoke on his own career journey and the rapid rise of artificial intelligence, Sheli explored how technology has transformed the world of work over the past four decades and what this means for today’s pupils.

🇪🇸🇫🇷In June, our MFL department held its annual Poetry Recital Competition. After class heats, pupils from Year 7 to Lower Sixth were narrowed down to two finalists per year group in both French and Spanish.

The finalists recited poems by renowned poets such as Jacques Préveet and Federico García Lorca, demonstrating impressive confidence, expression and linguistic skill.

Well done to everyone who took part and congratulations to this year’s winners.
