This morning our Twiglets enjoyed so much nature exploration and invitations to play! It was so lovely observing how they explored the open ended resources!

We would love to hear what all your little ones have enjoyed in the sessions this week!

It's been wonderful catching up with all our families and welcoming lots of new ones too!

Our Home Ed hawks returned today for a new term! Autumn is such a beautiful season to explore our woodland and we cannot wait to experience all the changes we have coming up!
We started the morning catching up, sharing our summer adventures and re connecting. We also created lots of leather crafts, made chalk paint, explored all our swings and ropes, created delicious recipes in the mud kitchen, whittled wood and bucket loads of imaginative play!

We also welcomed some new children to the group, who all settled in super quick and by the end of the session it was as though they had been part of our little Home Ed community forever!

Here's just a snapshot of the fun we got up to....

Can anyone recommend a local tree surgeon who might be able to provide us with some wood chip/logs for seats/green wood? 🤞

For the past two days our wonderful team have come together to....

- Refresh our Safeguarding responsibilities and knowledge
- Refresh our knowledge around policies
- Discuss updates in our Allergy procedures and policies
- Brainstorm seasonal ideas for forest school
And lots more!.... But we must not forget ......time together to re-connect, upskill our forest school and bushcraft knowledge and prepare for a wonderful new year ahead!

Tomorrow we welcome back our Alternative Provision learners, and we cannot wait!

A big thank you to Happy Mama Hub, Brampton Cambridgeshire - Mother & Baby Wellness for providing us with a perfect space for our training on Thursday, and Matt from Manor Wood who inspired us today with lots of new knife skills, bushcraft project ideas and lots of whittling!

This incredible kid attends our Alternative Provision, and we're super proud of him! So brave too to abseil in his wheelchair! Even if he did regret his life choices pretty quick 😂 it's great to hear he wanted to get straight back up for another go!

Only 10 more sleeps until we begin to welcome back our learners who attend our Alternative Provision for our Autumn term! We can't wait to hear what everyone has been up to this Summer! 🌿
