The children have had another exciting and action-packed day!ππ³πͺπ₯
This morning, they became weather forecasters, using a range of technology to create their own weather reports. The green screen was a particular challenge, especially when trying to position their hands correctly to point at different locations on the map!
Then they enjoyed working together on the low ropes course. They demonstrated excellent teamwork, communicating effectively, listening to each other's ideas and thinking creatively to solve problems. Most importantly, they had lots of fun along the way!
During pond dipping, the children were delighted to discover a newt, along with lots of water boatmen and other pond life.
There are also some TV professionals in the making! Throughout the day, the children took on a variety of production roles, including title mixer, director, vision mixer, effects mixer, sound mixer and sound effects operator.
To round off the day, the children tackled the Smugglers' Challenge, searching around Burwell House for hidden smuggled gold.
A fantastic day full of teamwork, creativity, discovery and adventure!

This afternoon the children worked in pairs, with one child wearing a blindfold while their partner guided them through an obstacle course in the woods. They had to listen carefully, trust each other, and work together to get around the different obstacles. They all enjoyed the challenge and showed great teamwork, communication, and encouragement throughout the activity. πΆππͺ΅π³

Today, year 4 children settled into Burwell with a fun game of βThe Snail Gameβ before enjoying a delicious pizza lunch.
This afternoon, they spent time exploring the grounds through an orienteering activity, searching for markers hidden around the garden. They then got creative by making natural sculptures, including self-portraits, butterflies, and designs of their own choosing.
