Sand and saucepans !!
Mixing,mashing,stirring and transporting all in a very busy morning in the garden.
The children have been learning what happens to sand when we mix it with water and mix it and mash it.

Half term and some of our friends are on holiday so just a few of us.. this week we have visited the local coffee shop ( children request) practiced writing our names and mark making on different surfaces, learning colours and visited the local horses.

Spent National Bee day with us.
Making bees from play - dough adding string for the strips, putting the bees in the hive, the children pretended the messy play corn flakes could be the honey that the bees had made.

Later in the day a very large queen bee was made!

A very Beezy day of learning ..

Painting on tin foil this afternoon- the children mixed colours and used different tools to mark make. Such a fun easy activity.

On Friday we visited Little City - Cambridge and explored all the role play areas from hairdressers to coffee shops, construction and many more. The children practiced sharing and turn taking and had a really great time.

Monday morning tea party 🎉

Today after school we decorated biscuits with coloured icing and lots of sprinkles … 🌈🍪 all ages took part it was a great hit.

All things green and finding numbers in the messy play .. little set up for first thing.
