I upcycle and recycle things giving them a new life and possibly a new guise. Have a look and see what takes your fancy

Watching The Farmer’s Country Showdown showing the wonderful Lavenham Farmer’s Market and spotted my crates on the Brooks And Conquest Cyder stall. Fame at last!

If you are looking for something different to give for Christmas this year, then come along to Hinchingbrooke House, Cambridgeshire on Sunday and see all the wonderful stalls on show there. We will be there with our wreaths, bags and more, alongside my brother’s cyder stall where there will be tasters to find the one that suits your palate.

I’ve been a bit quiet on this page, but busy in real life. Before the rain set in I spent a few weeks painting windows, doors, mending gates, and making a fence at my Mum’s ready for the upcoming winter months, but have now as enquiries and orders have come in for wreaths I have started to think about Christmas and Lorraine's Trash to Treasure. What would you like to see?

With the colder weather coming and the cost of living in general only going in one direction, I am making a range of draft excluders to try to keep the drafts out, the gas bills down, and hopefully money left in the coffers! Each one has a hanger so that it can be hung on the handle when it is not in use. 🥶

So as autumn is fast approaching, I have made things with this in mind; boot jacks, welly boot hangers, and to put a smile on your face because autumn is fast approaching, gnome or gonk men succulents, and wooden pots with cacti. More photos to come ...... 😉

If you are looking for somewhere to go this Sunday, then why not come along to Hinchingbrooke House and take in the beautiful location and school along with a great craft fair within the grounds and house. I shall be there with my recycled, recrafted, and hopefully reloved items. I will be next to Mark at Brooks and Conquest Cyder made with apples from our orchards in Colne and Amy at Wellington Children’s Books with a range of Usbourne books. We hope to see you there 😊

What a lovely day at Hinchingbrooke House. The sun shone, and the visitors were enjoying the environment and all the artisan offerings. So many compliments that I am surprised my head could fit through the truck door for the drive home. Thank you to all those people who visited and said hi today. Feet up now with a cup of tea! 🥰
