We’re incredibly excited to be cheering on Sol and Uzair as they head off to Zagreb tomorrow to represent at the 2026 Artistic Gymnastics European Championships! 🇬🇧❤️

🌟 Sol will be competing in the Senior Championships
🌟 Uzair will be competing in the Junior Championships

What an incredible achievement and such an exciting opportunity for them both! We know all the hard work, dedication and countless hours in the gym that have gone into getting them to this point, and we couldn’t be prouder. 🥹👏

🌟 Huge Congratulations, Erin! 🌟

We are incredibly proud of Coach Erin, who has just successfully completed the brand-new British Gymnastics Assistant Foundation Coach qualification! 🤸‍♀️👏
Erin was also part of one of the first cohorts to successfully complete this new course, making this an extra special achievement. 💙
Her tutor, Julie Berry, was extremely impressed with Erin’s coaching throughout the course, awarding her the highest possible feedback rating — “Met Standard with Exceptional Qualities” — across every assessed category! 🌟

This included:

✨ Effective Communication Skills
✨ Safe Skill Development
✨ Technical Understanding

What an incredible achievement and a fantastic reflection of Erin’s commitment, attitude and passion for coaching. We couldn’t be prouder! ❤️
And Erin isn’t stopping there… she has already started her next step, making a fantastic start on the new Foundation Coach (Level 2) qualification! 🚀

Erin will be combining her developing coaching knowledge with her degree in Musical Theatre, bringing her love and understanding of performance into the gym to help our gymnasts develop their artistry, expression and performance skills. 🎭🤸‍♀️
She will also continue her ballet sessions here at the club, allowing her to share even more of her knowledge and passion for movement, dance and performance with our gymnasts. 🩰✨

We’re so excited to see how Erin continues to grow as a coach and to see the positive impact she will have on our gymnasts.

🎉 CONGRATULATIONS COACH CERYS! 🎉

What an achievement! 👏🏻💙

After two years as our apprentice, Cerys has officially completed her apprenticeship, gaining her Level 2 Community Activator Coach qualification alongside working across our daytime programme in the gym. 🤸‍♀️📚

And as if that wasn’t enough… 🤩 Cerys also successfully completed her British Gymnastics Level 1 Women’s Artistic Gymnastics coaching qualification during her apprenticeship! 👏🏻🏅

We have absolutely loved watching Cerys grow in confidence, develop her coaching skills and become such a valued member of Team HGC. 💙

And the best news… 🙌🏻
Cerys has now accepted a full-time coaching role with Huntingdon Gymnastics Club! 🎉🥳

We couldn’t be more thrilled to have her continuing her journey with us. Here’s to the next chapter, Coach Cerys! 🌟

🍎❤️ A HUGE thank you to the amazing team at Tesco Ramsey (Store 5292) for their incredibly generous donation of four crates of fresh apples to Huntingdon Gymnastics Club!
A special shout-out to Store Manager Edmond Dimaj and Community Champion Samantha Challenor, who kindly arranged this wonderful surprise for us. Your generosity helped us encourage healthy eating throughout the club and put smiles on so many faces.
Over the last few days, our taster session gymnasts, Summer Camp participants, Parent & Toddler families, Improver groups and Squad gymnasts have all enjoyed a healthy snack between activities. 🍏🤸‍♀️ Even our coaching team got involved, helping to spread the message that fuelling our bodies with nutritious food is an important part of staying active and performing at our best.
We love creating opportunities to promote healthy habits, and support from local businesses like Tesco makes a real difference to our community.
