A band I play keyboards with on an amateur basis.
Fund raiser for a local church.

From 18 October 2021 I am semi retiring.
I shall no longer be teaching Thursday or Friday.
Lessons will be available Monday to Wednesday in the afternoons and early Evenings.

Autumn Leaves This is my arrangement of Autumn Leaves by Joseph Kosma. I really like this melody and coming up with this version. Hope you enjoy!

One of my ex students, Marin Valentin Wolf doing what he does best, Jazz piano. An improvisation fusing 2 pieces 'Girl from Ipanema by Carlos Jobim, and Wednesday's Girl by Bill Laurence. Marin, who comes from Switzerland was with me a couple of years back when studied at Abbey College 6th form on a student placement for 2 years and is one of the most pleasant young men I have had the pleasure to work with. He has just secured a place at Zurich Uni studying sound engineering and Jazz piano (at which I hope you can agree he is pretty cool!).

I have closed the business for face to face teaching and offering video lessons as an alternative. I am totally humbled by the volume of take up of these. Thank you, you have no idea what that means to me.

All Students have received an email concerning the Corona virus precautions. They are these:

1 The outside door handle is sanitised inside and out very regularly.
2 I will wash my hands before teaching each student, I suggest students might do the same on arrival
3 The piano keys are wiped with cleansing fluid after every student who has used it
4 I will keep a safe distance from you whilst teaching.
5 Sorry to be antisocial, but no shaking of hands at this time please.
6 When it is available hand sanitisation fluid will be available in the teaching room to any student (and me) requiring to use it.
7 I will not touch your hands in the course of teaching, as there has sometimes been the need to do so.

Most students are attending as usual. Only a few highly vulnerable students are cancelling for a lengthy period which is very encouraging. Thank you all for your support.
