🌸 Flowers + Playdough = So Much More Than Play 🌸

There is something magical about combining natural materials with playdough. As children press, roll, pinch and decorate with beautiful flowers, they are developing so many important skills without even realising it.

This simple invitation to play encourages creativity, strengthens fine motor skills, supports hand muscles for future writing, introduces new vocabulary, and inspires imaginative conversations. It also gives children the opportunity to slow down, explore different textures, colours and shapes, and connect with the natural world around them.

Meet Lisa💛

Lisa is a practitioner in our Daisy room

Lisa is Level 3 childcare qualified, first aid certified and has a plethora of childcare training certificates.

Alongside being a Mum of 2 Lisa has 20 years experience in childcare and brings her nurturing and calm attitude into Little Munchkins, we can always count on Lisa to offer warmth and comfort to our children.

Lisa was previously at Little Munchkins in 2018 and we are very pleased to have her back.

Meet Rhiannon💛

Rhiannon is the Room Lead for our Daisy room and our Special Needs Education Coordinator.

Rhiannon has a Level 3 in childcare, is first aid certified and has completed the most extra training out of all the Little Munchkins team! Rhiannon creates beautiful play opportunities for our youngest friends to enjoy and learn from.

Rhiannon is a Mum of 6 and enjoys tending to her allotment (Which the Daisy room visit frequently).

Meet Jess💛

Jess is a practitioner in our Daisies Room. We’re yet to meet a baby who doesn’t bond with Jess instantly! Her kind, caring nature makes for such beautiful interactions.

Jess is currently studying accountancy whilst working at Little Munchkins part time, busy bee!🐝 Jess is first aid certified and keeps her childcare knowledge topped up with lots of training and knowledge building.

Hi everyone,

I’m Sasha the Manager at Little Munchkins

I have been at Little Munchkins since I was a college student (6 year ago!) as a practitioner and have been the Daffodil room lead for the last year.

I am currently the Designated Safeguarding Lead, Equality Named Coordinator. I am also in training to be a Special Needs Education Coordinator (alongside Rhiannon).

I have a Level 3 in childcare and a degree in Developmental Psychology, I am very passionate about providing the best quality support, care and education for our children and families.

I’m very excited about the future of Little Munchkins and to continue watching our children learn and grow💛
