Spring Common Academy

Jess had a fantastic weekend of racing, she really rose to the challenge and what huge moments for her! She was competing alongside some gold medalists and world and british records holders! Jess swam 6 races across two days a very early start yesterday morning with 4 races across the day, The swimmers set some very fast times and Jess did amazing in keeping pace coming away with 6 new personal bests 3 of which were huge new PB's! Now for a well deserved rest before back to training on Thursday. Thank you everyone for all the lovely messages and encouragement 😊

Good luck to Jess, who is a KS4 student at Spring Common Academy, who will be competing in the Junior Para Nationals this weekend in Coventry. Jess has been working so hard out of school, dedicating her time and energy in to getting herself prepared for this competition.
Jess, we are tremendously proud of you and your swimming achievements to date. The commitment and effort you put in is just amazing!

Parent/Carer Afternoon Tomorrow!
A reminder that tomorrow we will be welcoming in Parents/Carers once again 1.30-2.30 pm with the theme 'using or senses to explore the world'
As always the carpark will be available to park in. Upper School can go to the top doors to sign in and lower school through reception.

PGL Update
Just a quick update to let you all know some of our students from P16 have arrived at PGL ready to start their day trip adventures!

PGL Update
Students had a good afternoon yesterday and put in 110% trying all the physical activities in the very windy and cold conditions. Most students were tucked up in bed and asleep by 9.30 pm!
A few students from P16AD will be joining them today for the day which everyone is very excited about!

PGL Update
Some of our Post-16 students have gone on residential today to PGL Caythorpe. They have arrived safely and are now having lunch.

As the Easter season approaches, Spring Common Academy Post-16 students are busy preparing for an exciting Easter event that brings joy and celebration to children in our school community. This year, the students are organising an Easter raffle and would greatly appreciate your support in making this event a success. The event will be taking place on Friday 20th March so will be asking for raffle donations before this date. The event itself is only for students in school this time due to other events going on in school.

We are kindly requesting a donation of Easter eggs or Easter themed donations. Tickets can be purchased by students, parents and carers, in fact anyone who would like to support! Easter donations can be dropped in at the school office or with your child to class, who will take them to the Post-16 team. Raffle tickets can also be purchased from me through the school office or class. Tickets will be 20p each or £1 for a strip.

As always, we really do appreciate the support shown to our school events.
