What a busy couple of weeks adjusting to the new term of September 🤩

We have been enjoying the summer holidays - moving in a different pace and enjoying slower days ☀️
We’ve enjoyed getting out and about most days 🤩
We are busy behind the scenes, decorating and making some changes to the house , whilst we enjoy a summer in the cabin -back with the 🐓

What a week !
We said goodbye to two of our leavers who are moving onto pre school . It’s such an emotional time for both the families and us at Littlecubs.
The bonds we have with these children and the parents are incredibly special .
We wish our children all the best in the next part of their journey. We know they will absolutely meet their new challenges head on - they are strong , loving children 😍
We will miss you so very much xx

The weather has been incredible ☀️☀️

We made a little lemonade stand, which proved really popular with the children . A sensory taste sensation!! I put some 🍋‍🟩 limes , 🍋 lemons , mint , 🧊 ice, straws and cups -all ages benefited from this activity . Scooping , tongs, smelling and tasting !

We are in to the last week and a half of term 😞 we are sadly losing a few children, who take their next steps to pre school . We are going to be having a teddy bears picnic on Monday 14th . All children may bring their favourite teddy bears . No packlunches are required only snacks for later in the afternoon .

we celebrate a significant milestone in the lives of our wonderful children who are preparing to transition from childminding to preschool. This moment is filled with mixed emotions for me-joy, excitement, and a touch of sadness, as we say goodbye to these precious little ones who have grown to be an integral part of our lives.

Over the years, we have witnessed their remarkable development, guided by the principles of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). We've seen them explore, play, and learn. They’ve cultivated friendships, developed curiosity, and gained independence. Each child has truly blossomed.

As they embark on this new journey into preschool, we want to extend our heartfelt wishes to them and their families. May your new adventures be filled with laughter, learning, and lasting memories. We are confident that your next steps will be as fulfilling and enriching as the time we've spent together.

To our parents, thank you for entrusting us with the care of your children. We will miss seeing their smiling faces daily and witnessing their growth firsthand.

While this is a time of transition, it’s essential to remember that my door remains open. Our relationships don’t end here; they evolve as your children grow. I look forward to hearing about their new experiences and achievements.

let us embrace this change with hope and excitement. Each child carries a piece of our hearts as they step into a bright future. Thank you for being a part of our journey, and here's to new beginnings!
