Ladybird Day Nursery

In the toddlers this week we have been exploring our water tray, we added our babies into the tray to develop our knowledge of washing our bodies.

This week in the toddler room we have been exploring our puzzles, the toddlers will confidently match the correct pieces together.

The children in the Under 2's unit have enjoyed spending time in the garden in the lovely weather. They have explored the bikes and also been becoming confident with balls.

This week in the baby room they have been developing their gross motor skills and learning how to balance whilst in the garden.

This week in the toddlers we have been developing our mark making, we have been using a range of materials such as chalk boards and mini clipboards.

This week in the toddlers we have been exploring our paints and vehicles as part of our transport week.

The children in the Toddler room have been joining in with some colour matching activities this week and sorting activities in their small group room.

The children in the Toddler room have been practising their cutting skills this week with the support and encouragemnt of our practitioners.

The children in the Preschool room this week have been looking at rhyming and enjoying a game called "Slug in a jug." based around rhyming words. They have also been doing some activities focussed around number recognition and matching the correct number of objects to written number.

The children in the Toddler room have been using resources from the garden to create collages. They have also been exploring natural resources in the sensory tray, with the small world dinosaurs.

The children accross the nursery have been celebrating St George's day this week using a variety of creative resources.
