Azarias Training Ltd are seeking freelance DofE assessors for the 2026 see season. Lots of expedition dates at Bronze, Silver & Gold level with more to be confirmed!

We are a small company committed to creating a strong staff team by offering regular work to our freelancers. We would be particularly interested in freelance staff with SEND experience, expedition director experience, and who are able to provide consistency across the season with dates.

We have had a super busy weekend/start to the week with participants from CAST and St Peter's School Huntingdon joining us to complete their Bronze DofE Qualifying Expedition..

It has been really hot and all of the young people have done extremely well in challenging conditions!

Tomorrow we look forward to welcoming Bronze participants from Impington Village College for their Qualifying Expedition 😀

It's been an incredibly busy weekend for the Azarias staff team who have been involved in 4 different expeditions over the past 4 days!!

This weekend was our Open Silver Practice expedition in the Chiltern Hills where we have 16 fantastic young people joining us in the Chiltern Hills. They were absolutely brilliant and the staff had a thoroughly enjoyable weekend...the participants all got along extremely well with groups joining up to play card games in the campsite and along the way!!

Well done to all the young people involved this weekend 😎

As one expedition ends... another one begins!!

At the start of the week we were joined by participants from St Peter's School in Huntingdon for their Bronze Practice Expedition...they were treated to wall-to-wall sunshine across the two days and all of them did really well to complete their expedition 😀

This weekend we were in Peterborough and Ely to complete Bronze DofE Training with participants from Sir Harry Smith and Ely College...

The weather was amazing and we spent the weekend with some fantastic young people who are at the start of their DofE award journeys!

We have had a fantastic 3 days working with participants from Churchill Special Free School taking part in their Bronze and Silver Practice Expeditions...

They have all been outstanding over the past 3 days tackling every challenge they have been faced with whilst pushing their boundaries in the outdoors!

We are super excited to see them return for their Qualifying Expeditions over the next few months 😀

A stunning week in the Lake District with our Gold DofE participants from and our Open programme on their practice expedition...

Blue skies, sunshine, cold nights, big climbs, sunsets and cloud inversions making for an amazing week away...all participants have finished and are safely on their way home 😀

Whilst the Azarias staff team are enjoying glorious mountain weather completing navigation training with groups in the Lake District...I am at basecamp getting maps and trackers ready for the next few days of remote supervision ☀️
