When I think about it, this journey really began many years ago when I was probably around 12 years old. I remember collecting coal and sea glass on Cleethorpes beach with my Gran. We would take our treasures back to Gran’s holiday home ‘The Bung’ and use the sea glass to make pretty pictures of boats sailing on the sea. These are amongst my fondest memories and my love of making pretty things dev

eloped from those times with my gran. I continue to be drawn to pretty glass, crystals and natural stones. I love the tactile nature of the stones and derive a great deal of satisfaction when making something unique. I first studied silversmithing in the early 1990s and have continued my personal development by attending courses in all types of jewellery making. I study whenever I can and love to try new techniques so that I continue to grow. I also have a huge library of jewellery making books. In addition to making jewellery for my customers, my passion is teaching. I have been teaching jewellery making since 2009 and hold weekly workshops in silversmithing, beading, wire work and polymer clay. My workshops are held in my home studio. I would really like to take this opportunity to say thank you to a few important people who encouraged me to take those scary steps into self employment all those years ago. Firstly a really huge thank you to my lovely Mark for building my studio, giving me courage, inspiration, support, guidance and endless love. Because you believe in me, I believe in myself xx Thank you to my wonderful sons Jake and Connor for the support, love and pride you bring to me daily # # #
