Yesterday was a very special day as we released our butterflies after watching them grow from tiny caterpillars 🐛

Over the past few weeks, the children have had the wonderful opportunity to observe the entire life cycle up close. They watched with excitement as the caterpillars ate, grew bigger each day, formed their chrysalises, and finally emerged as beautiful butterflies.

This hands-on experience helped the children learn about life cycles, growth, change, and the importance of caring for living things. It encouraged curiosity, patience, observation skills, and lots of thoughtful discussions about nature and the world around us.

The smiles and excitement on their faces as they released the butterflies into the garden were truly priceless. What a memorable learning experience and a fantastic way to bring science to life! 🦋✨

World Environment Day🌍💦

All about making a difference, big or small, to keep our Earth healthy and happy for everyone!

It's about inspiring children to become little environmental champions, fostering empathy for nature, and teaching simple actions they can take to protect our precious planet.

We are blessed with our very own forest school onsite and our babies and toddlers have been busy exploring..

The whole nursery accesses forest school on a weekly basis from our babies, all the way to our preschool children.

This week our preschool children have been learning about the lifecycle of a caterpillar and have their very own display to observe, and use as a talking point.

We can’t wait for the big reveal 🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋

Neurodiversity Celebration Week (March 16-20, 2026)

This is all about a worldwide initiative challenging misconceptions about neurological differences like autism, ADHD, and dyslexia. It promotes celebrating neurodivergent strengths and talents, fostering inclusive in all settings/workplaces.

Ways to Celebrate and Promote Neurodiversity:
* Raise Awareness: Challenge stereotypes by learning about neurodiversity. It is an umbrella term encompassing different thinking styles, including ADHD, autism, dyspraxia, dyslexia, dyscalculia etc..
* Focus on Strengths: Shift the narrative from deficits to strengths.

Neurodivergent individuals often possess unique skills, such as exceptional creativity, attention to detail, and unconventional problem-solving abilities.

We have created and take pride in our Inclusive Environment👏❤️ we implement reasonable adjustments, learn all about differences and celebrating all our children and how unique they all are.🫶🏻
* Instead of looking at their challenges, see their super power and educate and bring a community of love and acceptance

Our very own Megan and Emma went on a training day for a SEND Conference today.

We take pride in helping all our children to feel a strong sense of belonging and helping them to succeed to their full potential before leaving us for primary school. 🩷👏📚✏️
