Some lovely comments and feedback. It’s not down to me, it’s down to the quality of students and willingness to listen, learn and be a good human being. The qualities that should come as standard. Many students have amazing knowledge, skills, experience and qualifications from other fields, but come with an open mind and willingness to learn new skills.

Sad to just be told of the passing of a clinic patient 90 yr old Jack Woodhouse who had been coming to have treatments with the students for the last 6 years. R.I.P Jack, you were a great guy and a very loyal and reliable customer.

Seems crazy to be talking 2027 already but as 2026 practical training courses are now full, we’re selling places for 2027 already and both January and a February course dates are listed online. One January course place taken already with only a few days of listing these online.

76 students booked in this year, extra courses planned for next year to cater for a potential 88 students. It may send me to an early grave but see how I get on. Actually looking potentially for some assistance next year, supervisory and student support. If anyone is interested please drop me a message.

Evidence of Effectiveness

Clinical studies and reviews support MB-PDT as a safe, non-invasive alternative, especially for moderate to severe cases resistant to standard treatments. Key findings include:

Cure Rates: In a 2014 study of 22 patients with severe distal-lateral subungual onychomycosis, MB-PDT achieved 100% mycological cure (negative fungal cultures) in moderate cases and 63% in severe cases after 6 months, with significant nail improvement and no adverse effects.
