First Class Childcare Huddersfield Quality Day Nursery & Preschool

Pre school have enjoyed some foam painting this morning. They painted some flowers and some shapes staying very focused and painted in the lines. We talked about the different textures of foamy paint to regular paint. The children said it was fluffy.

Pre school have enjoyed this activity and have enhanced their language skills by socialising with peers. Their confidence has grown in group activities and engaging.

Pre school did a fun magic milk experiment this afternoon! We looked at the different colours change in milk. Before we started we talked about the different things that we used. The children talked about the different colours and how they mixed together to make another different colour!

They had lots of fun and engaged really well.

Pre school have been very creative this morning. To extend mark making play we sellotaped some paper to the floor and used some pipe cleaners, feathers , crayons and glue to get creative. The children did some drawing and sticking. So children drew slides whilst some drew their mummies.


They had a really busy and creative morning today.

Building towers this morning encouraging problem solving, team work and resilience. 😊

Mark making with recycled materials ♻️📦🖍️

Pre school went and picked some leaves to help make and set up their nature playdough. They did really good teamwork collecting leaves and setting their table activity up. The children sat really well engaging and communicating with each other. They talked about what they’re making with their playdough , how the playdough and leaves smell. They really enjoyed and did and did a great job helping.

This week has been about the children’s lead of activities and they’ve chosen some really good ideas together.

Pre school had a great idea to make an outdoor teddy bear picnic. Following the children’s lead we set the garden up. The children chose other things like a book reading area, an obstacle course, a nature messy tray. They enjoyed the lovely sun and showed some really good language skills during their role play of a picnic.

Pre schools baby nursery role play set up for this week. The children have enjoyed playing with babies and learning what they eat so we set up a role play area for them to explore and use their wide imagination in role play.
