Professor Ladan, a Hubert Humphrey Fellow at the University of Minnesota, USA, and a member of the IUCN - World Climate Crisis Commission, Switzerland (2023 - 2025), brings 38 years of expertise in research, teaching, and global policy development. He has consulted for UNICEF, UNEF, ILO, UNECA, UNHCR, and ECOWAS and has examined PhD candidates at Ghent and Maastricht Universities.

Previously serving as the Director-General/CEO of the Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies, Professor Ladan is a leading voice in law, policy, and international collaboration.
