Little Fishes Childcare - Registered Childminder

We have enjoyed our first few weeks of the summer holidays here at Little fishes! A trip to the cinema, earnshaws woodland walk, blackberry picking, pugneys and lots of playing in the garden. We used our blackberries, along with apples donated by one of my lovely parents to make a crumble, we have had a huge change around with the toys and rotated in some favourites from our huge toy cupboard. All with lots of colouring and den making and general happy playing!! We have a few more outings planned for the next 2 weeks before we say goodbye to some mindees and get back into the school run routine again!! Busy busy, just how we like it! 🐠🐟

We have had one part time place become available from September, for an under 5 year old place. This will be full days for Wednesday's and Thursday's, and Friday's until 1pm.
Home from home childcare, with current parent references available on request.

We have had a busy first half term of the year, 3 birthdays including my oldest, visits to the library for rhyme time, visits to leapfrogs, some new toys purchased and played with, lots of mark making, baking and lots of fun!!
Plenty of plans for the the half term holiday and going forward into the new half term.

After a busy week filled with Christmas dinner, Christmas parties, birthday parties and days out, we have waved goodbye to the last of our children, ready for the Christmas break.
Thank you to all of my wonderful parents for my lovely gifts (they are snug under my tree for now), they are very much appreciated!

Little Fishes Childcare is officially 10 years old!!!!
I have looked after 85 children through those 10 years, some from babies through to middle school aged children, the oldest of which is currently 19! I feel incredibly privileged to have been able to have a small part in helping to shape these children into the wonderful, happy and caring people.
My family support me, whilst also sacrificing, with only minimal complaining, and have an amazing bond with the children in our home, which is so incredible to witness as a mum and a childminder.
Thank you to all my parents, past and present, for entrusting me with your most precious gift, your children.
Here's to many more years ahead.

Another fun few weeks here at Little Fishes.
A visit to cawthorne park to play and explore, a visit to the nature walk at Earnshaws Fencing Centre and finding lots of lovely bugs, animals and even saw some blackberries! We have had some indoor water play when the weather was a bit too warm for the younger children and lots of creative drawing time.
Some more exciting plans for the last 2 weeks of the holidays coming along too.

As it has just been the 10th anniversary of our family losing this amazing young man, we are holding an event on bank Holiday weekend in his memory.

There will be lots of stalls, food vendors, acts and plenty to do for the whole family. Please come along to support.

Also if any of my friends and local businesses are able to donate a raffle prize, we would be so extremely grateful, raising money for these 2 wonderful charities who helped the family so much. Please get in touch. I will be out and about this week asking local businesses too so let me know if you have anything your able to donate.

We have had a lovely few weeks at Little Fishes. We have played in the garden, had lots of water play, been on our annual strawberry picking trip to Bentley Grange Feeds , had some little ones birthdays, enjoyed baking some healthy treats and visited Wigfield Farm yesterday. We have lots more planned for the weeks ahead and hope the weather cooperates for us!!

Little Fishes Childcare is now closed until 7am Monday 2nd June, for some well needed family time. Any enquiries will be dealt with after this time. Many thanks hayley x
