The Mawlid of the Prophet ﷺ reminds us that loving the Messenger of Allah ﷺ is not simply about feelings or expressions of devotion; it is a commitment to make his blessed life and teachings our guide. Rabi‘ al-Awwal reminds us that the arrival of the Prophet of Mercy ﷺ brought the light of faith, justice, compassion, good character, and humanity to the world. Today, our responsibility is to reflect that same light through our character, our relationships, and our conduct in society. The true celebration of Mawlid is to carry the love of the Prophet ﷺ in our hearts, follow his Sunnah in our lives, and reflect his beautiful character in our actions.
