Congratulations to A1 student Sara on her outstanding success in the prestigious Anthea Bell Prize for Young Translators, run by The Queen's College, Oxford University 👏

Out of approximately 25,000 entrants from across the UK, Sara’s work was shortlisted among the top 5,400 submissions. Her German translation was awarded a certificate and commendation, an achievement equivalent to joint second place.

This remarkable accomplishment reflects Sara's talent, dedication, and passion for . We are incredibly proud of her success and all that she has achieved!

Recently, A1 students Orlagh and Adnaan met with a Physiotherapist mentor from Locala Health & Wellbeing to learn more about pursuing careers in .

The mentoring session gave them the opportunity to gain first-hand insight into the profession, discuss university pathways, explore work-shadowing opportunities and learn about the qualifications needed to become a physiotherapist.

As part of our Step Into Your Future Week, Greenhead College was delighted to host our annual Careers Fair once again 🚀

We’re proud to celebrate Sotonye and Nethi, who have each been awarded a Reading List Foundation Scholarship 📚

Nominated by their Personal Tutors, both students were recognised for their academic commitment, contributions to College life, and outstanding resilience throughout their studies.

Each will receive a £275 Blackwell’s voucher to support their university reading materials. Pictured is Sotonye, who plans to use her voucher to invest in essential resources as she progresses to the next stage of her education.
