Highburton Playgroup

Just a reminder to all parents/carers to send your child with a sun hat and apply a 6-8 suncream if they are with us all day with this current heatwave .

The children were very busy last half term , we watched our caterpillars grow into butterflies and released them , we also learnt about different senses , we played with different textures and learnt about different smells . The children especially enjoyed playing with the spaghetti and the limes and oranges using their skills to pour , we talked about different measurements.
The children enjoyed playing with the sound wall as well.

Thank you to everyone who supported our Race night back in March we have now been able to replace our dressing up rail with this lovely new one which the children are enjoying with the money raised.

Just a reminder the playgroup will be closed on Monday due to the bank holiday reopens 9am Tuesday

The children have been enjoying the Spring sunshine playing with the bubbles, water tray and the digging in the garden and playing with the mud kitchen .

A great big thank you to all our event sponsors of our race night and those who attended and supported this event.

We had a fun filled evening and raised an amazing amount of £1500!

We have ordered/purchased some much needed equipment to replace some very tired items including:

8 safety mats for under the climbing frame,
Dressing up rail with mirror,
Montessori Balance Beam,
2 rugs for quiet areas,
Children's ironing board set,
Chair covers,
Rainbow Coloured construction blocks,
Wooden digging table for the outdoor area.

We are also obtaining a quotation to enhance the sensory garden.

Just a reminder playgroup is now closed for Easter , we will reopen on Monday 13th April at 9.00am.
