🎉 What an incredible surprise! 🎉
I’m absolutely thrilled (and still a bit in shock!) to share that I’ve been shortlisted for the ‘STEM Icon of the Year’ at the 2025 STEM Awards.
To even be considered alongside so many inspiring leaders and role models in our sector is an honour I never imagined.
Being part of STEM Ambassadors and working with so many brilliant minds and enthusiastic young people in the North East and Yorkshire/Humber has honestly been a highlight of my year. Thank you to RTC’s STEM Hub and everyone who keeps championing new ideas into STEM. It really does take a community.
I’m grateful for every conversation, workshop, challenge, and breakthrough along the way. Here’s to making an impact together, and to all the people (students, teachers, colleagues, parents, educators, charities, organisations) who have cheered me on.
