I'm a full time artist and the sole organiser of the community outreach project Art is for Everyone. The goal of my project is to provide affordable art sessions for people of all ages, abilities and background in the local community. A safe space for all to be creatively and socially empowered. Currently I'm running workshops weekly at four different local community centres in Kirklees, West Yorkshire. I am also volunteering with a local action group helping run art sessions for kids, and art sessions for adult learners (supported by the Yorkshire Wellbeing Skills Group). I have a DBS certificate, Level 3 Child Safeguarding training, Public Liability insurance and a safeguarding policy. I will soon be undertaking a teaching qualification.
