A DAY OF BRASS!
We're excited to welcome back the Brass Ensemble of the Grenadier Guards tomorrow. Join us in St Paul's for a feast of brass band music - at 1.15pm and 7.30pm. Our own Uni Brass Band and the Grenadiers play music by William Himes, Vivaldi, Paul Lovatt-Cooper - and many others. Admission's free so just turn up at the door.

Just a quick announcement that 'An Audience with Thomas Mitchener' tomorrow at 1.15pm in Phipps Hall is now CANCELLED due to ill health, sorry for any inconveniences this may have cause.
The Messiah concert however is still on at 7.30pm in St Paul's Hall!! We're excited to see you all there.

Pianist, composer and broadcaster, David Owen Norris, joins us for an autobiographical piano recital. Well known for his Chord of the Week programmes on BBC2 Television, which is a popular feature of the Proms, David has performed all over the world since his appointment as the first Gilmore Artist in 1991. His own compositions include a Symphony, a Piano Concerto, the oratorios Prayerbook and Turning Points, and the multi-media tribute to the passing seasons, HengeMusic. This concert includes some of his own arrangements.

We celebrate the 500th Anniversary of the beginning of the reformation with a special concert exploring 'The Secret Life of Lutheran Chorales'. Leah Stuttard and Agnethe Christensen will explore the origins and history of the chorales in this concert and play beautify Scandinavian folk hymns.
We'll make you see the humble hymn in a different light!
