We have had another fantastic session with Robot Reg this week!
We focused on the “P” sound and recapped all of the sounds we have learned so far. The children are making excellent progress and are becoming more confident each week!!

This week, we have been developing the children’s fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination through fun, engaging activities. These skills help to strengthen their finger muscles and support early literacy and numeracy development.

This week, with Robot Reg, the children learnt the “T” sound. They also enjoyed using playdough to music, which helps to strengthen their finger muscles and develop their fine motor skills needed for early writing.

🦷A Visit from Lindley Dental! 🦷
This week, we had a lovely visit from Lindley Dental! The children learnt all about how to keep their teeth healthy, including the importance of brushing and choosing healthy foods.The children also had their teeth checked and received a sticker and a bag to take home full of exciting activities and a new toothbrush!

This week, we have continued to explore lots of natural autumn materials and have been busy creating lots of lovely autumn crafts!
We have also enjoyed reading the new Gruffalo Granny book and talking about the characters and adventures in the story.

Today we had our second phonics session with Robot Reg!!
The children had lots of fun singing, dancing and learning our sound of the week. This week's sound was 'A'. They listened well and all seemed to really enjoy themselves. The children each got a sticker and a worksheet to take home!
We can't wait for next week. 🌟

Our First Week Back!!
We have had a super busy first full week back at preschool, getting stuck into our Autumn topic!
We have been exploring natural materials such as conkers and leaves, developing our fine motor skills through threading and cutting, and harvesting our carrots and onions.
We have also been enjoying lots of delicious homemade food made by Tracy!

Phonics with Robot Reg!
Today we had our very first Phonics with Robot Reg session, and the children had so much fun!
We enjoyed singing, dancing and strengthening our finger muscles through lots of fun activities
Our focus this week was the letter S — we explored the sound, practised saying it and had lots of fun learning together!
