Hoppers Childcare

This week in the Hopping Frogs room we are looking at the story super Daisy! 🦸‍♀️ We have a tuff tray filled with characters from the story and some onomatopoeia words such as bang, pow, crash! 💥 We have the opportunity to make our own superhero’s! How exciting! 🦹‍♀️ We have lots of food play activities such as coloured rice, peas, and broccoli! 🥦 We have a counting activity using beautiful flowers 🌺 and a building activity using lots of different coloured magnetic tiles. 🌈 We have a fun activity in the sand, but beware some aliens may be there. 👽 We have a teeth brushing activity for the children to take part in too. 🦷What a great week the Hopping Frogs will have! 🐸

This week in the Bouncing Roos we are looking at nursery rhymes! 🎶 We have tiny Tim the turtle 🐢 in the water tray and Incy wincy spider 🕷️ in the tuff tray. We have the wheels on the bus on the small world table 🚎 and pat a cake on the playdough station. 🍰 We have also got I’m a little teapot 🫖 in the home area and rock a bye baby in the baby area! 👶How fun! 🤩 We have some amazing crafts this week and theses are making our own clocks ⏰ and mice 🐁 for hickory dickory dock and making gingerbread 🍪 men for the gingerbread man song. We are also exploring the colour blue. 💙 Hope you all have a lovely week. 😊

This week in the Bouncing Roos room we are looking at all things Alice and wonderland and especially at tea party’s and teddy bear picnics! 🧸 We have a teddy bear picnic set up in the home area and tea party activity set up in the tuff tray! How exciting! 🫖☕️ We have teddy bear soup in the water tray and making your own chocolates and treats at the play dough station. 🍫🍩🧁🍬🍰 We also have a woodland small world too for the children to explore. 🌲 Also in the Bouncing Roos we are looking at colours and shapes. We have shape stamping at the craft and some fun shape sorting and colour toys to play with. Finally we have a cool mark making activity where the children can mark make with paint using different tools. Hope you all have a lovely week! 💗

This week in the Leaping Lions room we have lots of fun activities out! 🤩 We are looking at the Mr men books and all the different emotions and characters and we can choose who our favourite are! 😊 We are also looking at patterns and how we can make different patterns using different objects/materials. We are getting in the summer feeling by doing a watermelon foam activity. The children can explore the foam using their senses. How exciting! 🍉

This week in the Hopping Frogs room we are looking at pirates! Arghhh! 🏴‍☠️ The children can find their inner pirates by playing in our small world and our other activities such as walk the plank. (Only do it if you dare!) 😱 We are also looking at Charlie cooks favourite book and we have activities planned around the book. We are even making our own books! 📕 How exciting! We are looking at bugs too and the life cycle of bugs. 🐛 We are also exploring colours and emotions and how they link. 🌈

This week in the Bouncing Roos we are looking at careers! 👨‍🌾👩‍🍳🧑‍⚕️👩‍🏫 we have lots of activities based on jobs such as farmers, doctors, scientists, bakers, shop keepers and builders. The children are also getting messy by painting with cars and seeing what tyre marks and tracks they can make with the cars wheels. 🛞 🚗The children are also mark making using sand and paintbrushes. 🎨🖌️ What a lovely week ahead! 💗

Look at what the Leaping Lions have done this term so far! As we are starting school soon we have done activities related, such as getting our school uniform on and what we would like to take as a packed lunch. We have also been looking at number and letters and even some words! We have enjoyed creating crafts and making potions too. We can’t wait to show you what else we are doing this term! 🤩🌺👩🏼‍🏫

Look what the Hopping Frogs have been up to this term so far! We have had lots of fun learning and doing activities all about different animals such as farm animals, dinosaurs and lots of others. We have also enjoyed our outdoors activities and one of the activities we did was jungle juice where we experimented with colours. This term we have also made a new sensory area which the children have loved! We can’t wait to show you what else we have planned for the term! 💚🐸🌍
