🌟 RESULTS ARE IN 🌟

A HUGE well done to each and every one of my tutees who opened up their results today!

You did it. You smashed it.

Remember, if you didn’t get what you wanted, today’s grades DO NOT define your worth.

Your GCSE results are just one chapter of your story — no matter what they say, your hard work, courage, and determination will take you further than any piece of paper ever could. Be proud of how far you’ve come, and excited for all that lies ahead.

To all my tutees. You are amazing. Whether you get what you want tomorrow or not;keep your head high, brush yourself off and be proud of the hard work and graft you’ve achieved this year.

Good luck!

That’s it…Paper 1 is here this week! Arghhh! Where and I mean where has the time gone?!!

Whilst writing little notes to my WONDERFUL year 11 tutees it made me reflect as to how truly amazing they are and how proud I am of each and every one of them no matter the outcome. You have been a joy and a pleasure and I’m so thankful that you have chosen me to be your tutor.

GOOD LUCK!

You’ve got this 👊🏻

🐣 HAPPY EASTER! 🐣

I don’t need an excuse to eat mini eggs all year round but Easter time is a good un’!

(Is it just me or do mini eggs smell DIVINE too?)

Being on maternity I have missed my visualiser soooo much -it was my bread and butter of my teaching in the classroom. I finally got round to purchasing my own and I could not have been more excited to use it last night!

Great classes last night 👏🏻

(Sad…I know!)

📚 🔨 A Levels .v. Apprenticeships 🪚 ✏️

There are so many AMAZING different avenues all our young learners can take post GCSE. A lot more than when I was at sixth form many many moons ago!

There is sometimes the misconception that you don’t need to pass your maths or English GCSE to do an apprenticeship, HOWEVER, did you know that roughly 75% of apprenticeship vacancy adverts block applicants who have not already achieved a grade 4 pass in GCSE English and maths.

The Association of Employment and Learning
Providers analysed 5,440 vacancies and discovered 72 per cent required learners to have a minimum of a grade 4.

Wow.

So whatever route you want to go down, whatever you want to be, secure your maths and English GCSE.
