We’re delighted to be holding 4 FREE Summer Singing Days in the School Holidays for all young people in Barnsley aged 6 - 13 years old, organised by Barnsley Youth Choir and funded by The Great Childhoods Ambition. Come and get involved in what should be a fantastic day!

HUGE congratulations to Zara, who has had quite an impressive few months.

On Saturday she won the 14 yrs and under vocal solo class and was placed 2nd in the Music Theatre Class at the Haydn Wood Festival. Not bad for her first ever competition.

This is on the back of gaining a ridiculously high mark in her Grade 3 Singing Exam.

This is one hard working and talented girl and I'm immensly proud of her achievements.

A huge congratulations to Savannah who recently auditioned for the the National Children's Concert Band, and got a place in the flute section for the 2nd year in a row.

Savannah is only 11 but a very talented musician and flute player and as well flute she plays piano, drums and she sings too.

It feels like a long time until the Easter course but she's very excited about it and even more so because there's also a summer course this year too for the Children's Concert Band.

Over the years I've had lots of students in these ensembles and they've had the best time on the courses, they have played some really interesting and challenging music and have made long lasting friendships.
