We had an amazing evening of rock and pop performances with our first ever Volume Up concert from the Musica Kirklees Festival Series! Well done to all the bands who performed!

What an amazing afternoon! This year's Come and Sing event brought people from across Kirklees together in the most uplifting celebration of music and community. The choirs and soloists shone with outstanding performances that filled St Paul's Hall with joy. A wonderful experience for everyone who took part!

Another fantastic set of performances from Musica Kirklees ensembles at Music for Youth National Festival SiriusXM Symphony Hall and Cbso Centre in Birmingham.

Great to see lots of representation from the Kirklees area. We are exceptionally proud of the four groups under our banner who played out of their skins!

Friday saw performances from the combined Special Schools Choir - 25 young people singing their hearts out and the wonderful Musica Youth Jazz performing with great maturity and flare.

On Saturday it was the turn of the Musica Sax Squad and Musica Youth Orchestra Symphonic brass all receiving high praise from the Music Mentors and demonstrating a very high level of musicianship.

These opportunities are essential for young musicians in Kirklees and across the country to continue their development and forge more progression routes into the profession.

Well done to every musician involved, their dedicated teachers and group leaders, our admin team working behind the scenes and thank you to their families for the support.
