🎶After a fantastic year of music making summer has finally arrived!

🎶 What a fantastic evening of music at our Summer Spectacular Concerts last night!

We had inflatable sombreros, amazing improvisation solos, glorious vocal performances and a fabulous Finale featuring our Senior Wind Band, Senior Strings and both choirs performing music from Fame! 🎵

Thank you to all our amazing performers, our wonderful Friends of Colne Valley for providing some tasty treats and to all the incredible staff at MCV.

MCV IS on next week, but not for String groups or choirs.

If you've left anything with us at Music Centre tonight, we'll look after it for you!

Please do remember to bring water bottles to MCV rehearsals tomorrow it’s going to be a scorcher!

Fantastic playing from our MCV Senior Strings this evening at Huddersfield Town Hall as they not only accompanied Primary school children in the Kirklees Primary School Music Festival, but also played brilliantly in their guest performance slot.

Well done to you and also to Mr Simons for leading the festival this week! It’s been brilliant!! 🎶

Musica Youth Sax Squad were smooth operators despite the wind and the faster-than-expected ducks at Slaithwaite duck race!
