Lower Seniors Eliza and Scarlet have enjoyed their first JAD Collective session for 26/27, following their successful application earlier in the year.

The JAD Collective is an associate programme in Commercial, Hip Hop and Street run by Joe Dubas.

Both girls have enjoyed the Commercial classes run by Joe every fortnight at our studio and wanted to apply for the Collective to further improve their commercial dance style and benefit from the excellent training and opportunities that come with it.

The five hour session at Glasshoughton Centre in Castleford, included workshops from three fabulous guest teachers - Noah Kinvig, Faye Keating and Kirsty Murphy.

The girls had a great time at the workshops learning lots of exciting commercial routines and can’t wait to return next month.

Ava, Edie & Mili attended Star Dance Events one day festival today and achieved fabulous results. Well done to all three girls on their achievements 👏👏👏

4th place D Ballet
A large D Section of a high standard with Edie performing really well

Ava:
1st place E Modern
1st place E Ballet
3rd place E Tap
3rd place Senior Lyrical (tied with Mili)
2nd place Senior Character
🏆 Best Cabaret Performance

Ava was also selected to perform her Modern in the Adjudicators choice

🎭🎶 One of our talented pupils is heading to pantoland after successfully auditioning to be a part of the young chorus for the Lawrence Batley Theatre pantomime, 'Aladdin’.

Ruby was one of over 100 young people who auditioned for one of 12 coveted places.

She will be in a team of six young people and is very excited for rehearsals to begin on October 31st.

Aladdin starts its run on Tuesday December 1st through to Sunday January 3rd and will feature incredible effects, lavish costumes, a side-splitting script and big musical numbers.

An extra special day for Caitlyn today! As well as being her 9th birthday, it’s also the start of her year-long journey as a Northern Ballet Kitten 💜

Ava and Edie performed today at Rising stars festival placing 1st in all their solos! 🎉

The sisters received lots of fabulous feedback from the adjudicator and achieved super marks. It was also Ava’s first time out performing her Character! Very well done girls! ⭐️⭐️
