Silk Dance
Perform. Teamwork

Dancing is a small part of attending a dance class, it's about creating a safe space for each child. Our school is a second home for my families, a place where children and parents want to spend time together, to feel relaxed and happy and feel part of something special. Silk is a part of the local community, joining in and arranging local events to give back as much as we possibly can. When people think of Silk they not only think of us as a dance school but as an ambassador of the local community. We train dancers to the best of their ability, we train them to work hard both physically and mentally, to always believe in themselves and be the best that they can be. Along with our parents we will encourage our children to plough through when things get tough and keep going, never give up and be the best version of themselves. We will get through the hard times together and celebrate the wins together. We are a family and so a win for the individual is a win for Silk. We raise a family, a tribe! Ohana!!!!

This is the part that the audience don't see!

The consistency, the dedication, the repetition 😁

Just like any sport, dancers need to put in the hard work to put on a great performance and improve!

✨ Strong dancers start with strong foundations.

Starting dance from a young age gives children the opportunity to develop the skills, technique and mindset that can support them throughout their dance journey. 🩰

From learning correct technique and musicality to developing discipline, confidence, resilience and a strong work ethic... every class is another step towards becoming the best dancer they can be. 🌟

It’s not about rushing the journey. It’s about building the right foundations, developing potential and giving every dancer the opportunity to grow.
