The inspiration behind and the whole reason Ruddi’s Retreat exists is 18 years old today.!
Ruddi Bob…
You are kind, loving, warm, daft, silly, humble and absolutely hilarious..!
You also still fight fights nobody knows about with dignity and strength and never complain.
Thank you for everything you do to make others happy and for allowing us to carry on in your name.
Your family and everyone involved in the charity are eternally proud of you.

ANOTHER Angelversary over the weekend!
Nikita joined the team 1st August 2022
She currently works in our Toddler Room.
In fact we all say she is the heart of the toddler room! The children and the team all adore her.
From September she will be based in our newly renovated 0-2 unit.
Happy 4th Angelversary Nikita!

Happy 5th Angelversary to Kaylynn.
Kaylynn joined us straight out of high school as an Apprentice.
She completed both her Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications with us.
Kaylynn is a Senior Early Years Practitioner and currently works in our Baby Room.
From September she will assist with leading our newly renovated 0-2 Years Unit.
Happy Angelversary Kaylynn.

Today was our Pre School Graduation/Leavers Party.
As usual it was a relaxed affair.
Each child was presented with a Certificate and a copy of their printed Learning Journal which documents their time at Nursery.
They also each received a personalised peg doll this year made by Beri Creative.
Caps and Gowns were entirely optional and the majority of children chose not to wear them which is their prerogative 😇
The children really enjoyed looking at old photos of themselves with the staff and their friends.
Staff from other rooms had the opportunity to pop in and spend some time as many these leavers have been with us since they were babies 🥹
A good boogie was had along with a bubble party and then we finished off the fun with a yummy party tea.
Thankfully we have the Summer Holidays left with a few but for some of them we said our final goodbyes today.
Sadly we also goodbye to Early Years Teacher and SENDCo Becca.
She is also flying off to start a new journey at a school for children with additional needs.
Becca has been with us for over 7 years and her second child to go through the nursery graduated Charley’s Angels alongside her today.
She will be greatly missed and the children she is going in to teach are very lucky indeed.
So join me in wishing both Becca and our ‘graduates’ good luck with their future adventures.
