In Year 4, we have been looking at still life drawings. Last week, we drew a fruit bowl and focused on the composition. This week, we have drawn it again and then added a mosaic effect to add colour.

Year 2 worked brilliantly together to create their own Bee-Bot mats before putting their programming skills to the test! Using directional instructions, the children carefully guided their Bee-Bots to discover where the pirate had travelled.
It was fantastic to see such great teamwork, problem-solving and communication skills as the children worked together to plan routes, follow directions and debug their commands when needed.🐝🏴☠️

This week in Year 3 we have started our new unit in English.
We are reading ‘The Journey’ and today we begun by imagining walking through our own ‘big red door’ and talking about what was on the other side.
We used drama, mind maps and talk partners to come up with some imaginative responses.
