Just a reminder of some of our educational visits taking place this week - Year 5 children will be visiting the Methodist church on Tuesday to complete the 'Easter Journey' and Year 4 children's sports trip to ROCKT is this Wednesday.

Just a reminder that tomorrow, Thursday 10th March we will be taking part in the Turning Kirklees Pink for Eden event. We are inviting the children to come into school wearing something pink. This can be anything from hair bobbles and accessories, tshirts, trousers, socks, shoes. For this day the usual school uniform will not apply. If your child does not have anything pink then they are welcome to wear something of another bright colour.

Remember, raffle tickets can be purchased for £1 per ticket on parent pay until the end of today. There are lots of great prizes to be won!

Turn Pink for Eden: On Thursday 10th March we are inviting the children to come to school wearing something pink and to place a donation on to Parent Pay to help raise money for Eden's Army.

We will also be selling raffle tickets on Tuesday and Wednesday via parent pay for a selection of prizes to be won.

Almondbury and Farnley Tyas Parish Aid for Ukraine collection: Please remember on Tuesday 8th March that the school will be a collection point for humanitarian aid collection to support Ukrainian people displaced by the current situation. Mrs Wyatt's email contains further information.

It's World Book Day on Thursday 3rd March. To celebrate this day we are inviting the children and staff to come to school dressed as their favourite book character or in clothing that they feel comfortable wearing whilst reading e.g. pjs, loungewear or other comfortable clothing.

We have been asked by All Hallows' church to send out the following information.

All Hallows' Church invites you to come and join our Family Beetle Drive and Pancakes Evening.

On Friday 25th February at 7pm in the Church Hall.

Admission is free and all children must be accompanied by an adult.

Admission is by ticket only. If you would like tickets please contact school.

Our school value this half-term is Self-worth. The children have discussed the different qualities they like about themselves, how they can support and encourage each other and reflected on the morals of Christian stories and what they tell us about valuing our self-worth.
