Equine Spirit

Combining my experience of animals with my extensive teaching background.

I have the privilege of delivering equine facilitated learning sessions to a variety of very special humans with the help of my intuitive herd of horses and other animals.

We always look forward to welcoming new visitors, we try to incorporate a special interest to make them feel comfortable in our setting . We introduced our horses and we likened each one to a Toy Story character/ quote. Esme was ‘ A good soldier never leaves a man behind.’ - Green army man . She always leads the herd and makes sure they are safe .
We followed this with some different food tasting for the horses and a relaxing grooming session. Happy humans and happy horses 😊🐴

Today we looked at horses personalities and how they adapt to change . We made comparisons with our own personalities and which horse we thought we were most like .
A carousel of unusual foraging activities and toys which our lovely herd explored at liberty. Their choices reflected their individual personalities 🥰🐴

Today we focused on looking at non - verbal communication in horses and made comparisons with humans. We also looked at behaviours of relaxed and heightened horses . I think you’ll agree Esme and Millie were very relaxed this morning. Biscuit enjoyed some essential oils after his walk out away from the rest of his herd . Happy horses and humans here today 😊🐴🥰

Not sure which one of my lovely herd had crafted a pinhole camera, but Millie was impressed by the solar reflection in front of her stable 🐴🌞

There were two in the bed and the little one said …. How about field service today Sarah? Breakfast in bed for Theo and Biscuit early this morning 🥰🐴

Frozen water melon , ice trays of carrots , apple bobbing , a water buffet from iced tea to salted water . Last but not least.cold wash down with lavender cold water 🥰🐴

15/06/2026

Today we foraged for tasty treats growing around our fields and then we tested to see who liked which plant . It’s interesting to see our horses different needs . In the wild they eat plants they “ need”
They all enjoyed mint after their evening feed to aid digestion .

An eggcellent time today finding the hidden horse related clues for our lovely humans , to discover their treat and then we laid a carrot trail of Easter treats for Biscuit🐴🐣
