📚 Phonics and writing practice ✏️
This Reception child is a confident reader but has needed a little extra support with the writing side of phonics.
We are currently working on writing Set 2 sounds, focusing on slowing down, remembering finger spaces and using the sounds he knows to spell words independently.
Many children read confidently but find spelling and writing sentences much harder. A little targeted support can make a big difference!
