🌟 Making a Difference in Our Community 🌟
Students from 9C have truly lived out our academy values by donating essential provisions to the Beacon Project in Mansfield.
The Beacon Project provides vital support to members of our community who are homeless, vulnerable, or at risk, and our students were proud to play their part in helping those who need it most. 💙
This initiative was part of our academy’s Make a Difference project, which encourages social action and empowers young people to see the positive impact they can have on others.
We are incredibly proud of 9C for showing such compassion, generosity, and commitment—you are making a real difference! 👏

🏆 COUNTY CHAMPIONS! 🏆

A huge congratulations to our Year 10 Boys, who were crowned County Cup Champions after a dramatic and hard-fought victory over Christ the King!

The game was a tense affair from start to finish. Liam N gave National the lead in the first half with a composed finish after being played through on goal. Christ the King battled back after the break and found an equaliser with 20 minutes remaining, setting up a thrilling finale.

National continued to push forward and, despite missing a penalty with just five minutes left, showed incredible resilience and determination. With only two minutes remaining, Rafe H delivered a perfectly weighted ball across the box for Blake H, who calmly converted to score the winning goal and seal a memorable 2–1 victory!

The final whistle sparked jubilant celebrations as National were crowned County Champions following an outstanding team performance.

A special thank you to Mr Crossland for his time, commitment, and dedication to the Year 10 boys throughout the season. Your support and hard work have played a huge part in this fantastic achievement.

Today we said an emotional farewell to our wonderful Year 11 students. It has been a privilege to watch you grow, not only in your learning but as individuals — building friendships and creating memories that will stay with you for a lifetime.

Each of you leaves with your own story, your own dreams, and so much potential ahead. While it is hard to say goodbye, we are filled with pride knowing how far you have come and excitement for everything that lies ahead.

We wish you all the very best of luck in your next venture – wherever your future leads, we know you will continue to succeed. 🌟

⚽🏐 Year 7 Netball & Football Festival 🏐⚽
The Year 7 girls netball team and Year 7 mixed football team recently took part in a festival organised by Nottingham Forest Academy. Both teams represented the academy brilliantly with excellent teamwork and determination throughout the event.

The football team won 4 out of 6 matches, while the netball team impressed by winning 6 of their 7 games! 👏🔥
Students also had the exciting opportunity to meet professional Nottingham Forest Netball players, making it a truly unforgettable day!

🏉 Year 9/10 Girls Touch Rugby 🏉

A fantastic day for our Year 9/10 girls at the Midlands Touch Rugby Championships! With several girls competing in their first ever touch rugby competition, the team showed brilliant progress, determination, and teamwork throughout the day.

Their hard work and outstanding team spirit earned them an amazing 2nd place finish and qualification for the National Finals in June at Oxford Harlequins RFC!

🎉 Outstanding Achievement for Archie 🎉

Congratulations to Archie, who has been awarded a Gold certificate in the UK Mathematics Trust (UKMT) Pink Kangaroo Maths Challenge — an exceptional achievement that places him among the top young mathematicians in the country. 🏅 Achieving Gold places Archie in the top tier of an already elite group of students and reflects his talent, dedication, and hard work.
