Had a wonderful visit to Hucknall National C of E Primary School today. I was shown around by a group of fantastic pupils who were enthusiastic, knowledgeable, confident, and incredibly kind.

Their questions, insights, and pride in their school were truly inspiring. It’s clear that the staff and community have created an environment where children thrive - these young people have very bright futures ahead of them 🌟📚

Wow what a week we have had for Anti Bullying Week! In EYFS we have being focussing on ‘using our power for good’ and thinking about how to be a great friend.

Monday - We wore odd socks and completed odd socks activities whilst discussing how everyone is different, special and loved.

Tuesday - Remembrance Day. We talked about saying thank you to soldiers who protect us. We made poppies and took part in the 2 minutes silence.

Wednesday - We looked at how to be a kind friend and made a ‘Power for Good’ Superhero cape.

Thursday - We made a tree of kindness with all of our finger prints. The children suggested how to be a good friend for our friendship pledge.

Friday - Children In Need. We thought about how lucky we are and talked about some people not being as fortunate (linked to Pudsey Bear). We completed 12 laps in the Pudsey Fun Run and as a school have raised close to £4000 so far !!!!!!
