Outdoor Play Matters 💜

🌟 Friendship Day at Purple Bees Day Nursery! 🌟

Today, we celebrated Friendship Day by exploring the importance of kindness, teamwork, and caring for one another. 💜 The children created beautiful Friendship Trees using their painted handprints, showing how every friend is unique and helps our community grow. They also had lots of fun designing colourful friendship bracelets using paper, paint, glue, glitter, and other creative materials. Through these activities, the children practised sharing resources, taking turns, and celebrating the wonderful friendships they have made at nursery.

Fun Fact:
🌳 Did you know? Just like the branches of a tree grow stronger together, friendships grow stronger when we are kind, share, and help each other every day!

🏡 Create your own Family Friendship Tree! Paint everyone’s handprints onto a large piece of paper to make the leaves of a tree. Talk together about what makes each family member a good friend and write or draw one kind thing you can do for each other this week.

We had a very special visitor at Purple Bees today… 👀🦷

One of our wonderful preschool parents — who just happens to be a dentist — came in to show our little ones that the dentist chair isn't scary at all. It's actually pretty cool. 😄

Because learning healthy habits starts before their first tooth falls out. 🐝💜
