π§Όβ¨ Learning through fun! Today, our little learners discovered the importance of washing hands with soap through an exciting science experiment. π
The children dipped their fingers into water sprinkled with pepper and watched what happened. Then, when they dipped a soapy finger into the water, the pepper quickly moved away! π€© This fun activity helped them understand how soap helps keep our hands clean by removing germs.
Lots of smiles, curiosity, and learning all around! ππ

Our babies had a wonderful time exploring cornflour mixed with water today! Using spoons and bowls, they scooped, stirred, and transferred the mixture, enjoying the different textures and sensations.
This sensory activity supported the babies' fine motor development, hand-eye coordination, concentration, and early problem-solving skills. They were curious and engaged as they explored how the mixture moved and changed when handled.

Our children enjoyed a Montessori pe***ng activity where they practised using pegs correctly while developing their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
Using doll clothes, pegs, and a recycled cardboard box as a clothesline stand, the children carefully hung the clothes out to dry. This hands-on activity not only encouraged independence and concentration but also helped them understand the importance of recycling and reusing everyday materials in creative ways.
A wonderful learning experience that combined practical life skills with environmental awareness! π±πβ»οΈ

Today, the children explored a variety of Montessori materials that supported their learning across several areas of development.
Using the Trinomial Cube, the children strengthened their problem-solving skills, concentration, and understanding of patterns and spatial awareness.
Through Cards and Counters, they practised number recognition, counting accurately, and developed an understanding of odd and even numbers.
The Sound Boxes encouraged careful listening as the children refined their auditory discrimination skills by matching sounds of varying intensities.
The children also enjoyed working with the Pink Tower, carefully arranging the cubes from largest to smallest. This activity helped develop visual discrimination, fine motor control, coordination, concentration, and an early understanding of size, dimension, and sequencing.
It was wonderful to see the children working independently, making discoveries, and building confidence through hands-on learning experiences.

Our children have been busy developing their fine motor skills through a fun cutting activity! βοΈπ
Using hand templates with colourful "fingernails," the children carefully practised cutting along lines, helping to strengthen the small muscles in their hands and improve hand-eye coordination.
The different coloured nails also encouraged colour recognition, language development, and early literacy skills as the children identified, named, and talked about the colours they could see.
This activity supported:
β’ Fine motor development
β’ Scissor control and safety
β’ Concentration and focus
β’ Confidence and independence
β’ Early writing skills through hand strengthening
β’ Colour recognition and vocabulary development
β’ Communication and early literacy skills
Well done, everyone! π

Today our children enjoyed a wonderful sensory walk, exploring a variety of natural textures including water, sand, mud, and grass. π£π§π±
As they walked through each area, the children talked about what they could feel, using descriptive language to express their experiences. They discovered the differences between rough and smooth, wet and dry, soft and hard, developing both their sensory awareness and vocabulary.
This hands-on Montessori experience encouraged curiosity, confidence, and a deeper connection with the natural world.
A fun, messy, and meaningful day of learning! π
