Back in June - National Crime Reading Month - we asked visitors to the libraries to vote for their favourite Crime Writer.
After rigorous checks and rechecks, we can now confirm the result: Agatha Christie is our top crime author!
Honourable mentions to runners up Richard Osman and Michael Connelly.

It's launch day!

From today we are taking registrations for this year's Summer Reading Challenge. The theme is Read to the Beat, so let us know what your favourite background music for reading is; maybe we can make a Hounslow Reading Mixtape!

It's that time of year again - we're approaching the end of the school term, and that means the start of the Summer Reading Challenge!

This year's theme is Read to the Beat so we're expecting some great book soundtrack suggestions.

Registrations start on 11th July.
