We're looking forward to seeing you at the first of two Horstead Community Days, this July the 31st from 10.30AM.

This is a FREE community event with plenty of fun and engaging activites for people of all ages, and there're spaces still available... book your places now!

LOCAL GROUPS AND ORGANISATIONS Please also get in touch if your organisation would like to run a stall or deliver an activity on the day. These events are well attended and are a great opportunity to promote your work and engage with our local communities.

Dates are as follows:

Monday 27th July - Archery and Canoeing
Tuesday 28th July - Cratestacking and Bushcraft
Wednesday 29th July - Rock Climbing, Zipwire and Team Games
Monday 24th August - Camp Cookery and Paddle Boarding
Tuesday 25th August- Vertical Challenge and Nightline (obstacle course)
Wednesday 26th August - Orienteering and Giant Catapults
Thursday 27th August - Geocaching and canoeing
Friday 28th August - Archery and Orienteering
Wednesday 2nd September - Cratestacking and Bushcraft

As usual, there will be limited FREE places available for those elligible for free school meals, as well as pay/day places for those who are not.

FREE Community Activity Day - July 2026

The Horstead Centre and Horstead All Saints Church would like to invite you to another of our popular Community Activity Days, this July 31st from 10.30AM.

As always, there will be games, adventure activities, arts, crafts and lots of open space to enjoy with your families.

THIS YEAR, WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM LOCAL GROUPS / ORGANISATIONS WHO WOULD LIKE TO RUN AN ACTIVITY OR STALL IN THE GARDEN:

ARTS, CRAFTS, SKILLS, SPORTS, EDUCATION.... ALL WELCOME.

Activity sessions at the Horstead Centre have limited capacity and so it is always best to book.

The Horstead Centre Team are looking to welcome a new HOUSEKEEPER to our team.

Our busy outdoor activity centre hosts over 3000 children and young people each year.

Our housekeepers vital work ensures that the Centre is looking its best and that guests feel comfortable and welcome, on arrival and throughout their stay.

If you would like to know more or wish to apply please contact [email protected] for a job description and applicaiton form.

All applicants will be asked to complete an application form and attend an interview, in line with safer recruitment guidelines.

Appointments are subject to enhanced DBS check.

HAF (BNHF) HOLIDAY CLUB PLACES GO LIVE TOMORROW PM.

Were delighted to share the news that the Horstead Centre will again be delivering the Horstead Holiday Club places through the Holiday Activity and Food programme (Big Norfolk Holiday Fun) during the Easter break.

The Horstead Holiday Club is open to everyone to book on to, but there will be a limited number of fully-funded places, available to those who are eligible for free school meals each day that we run the club. If you are not elligible, there are still affordable places available.

ITS OFFICAL !! The Holiday Activity Clubs are back !!!😀🌻

Our Easter dates are already available and ready for you to book. So if you haven't already , make sure to book your child/children's slots by emailing - [email protected]
We also have availability for Summer , October and Christmas so please contact us for any information.

The Horstead Holiday Club is for 8-14 year olds for just £29.50 per person/day.
Our club runs from 08.45 - 4.30 each day with a healthy lunch included.
