What an amazing turnout to the colour run, organised by the Friends of Kilnwood Vale. The children (and staff) had so much fun! Thanks to the FoKV for organising and to everyone who contributed towards the fundraising.

To celebrate Autism Acceptance Week 2023, the children spent time in their classes talking about their individual differences. The focus of conversation was about being special, unique and having different strengths.

A very exciting day in Nursery yesterday with the first chicks hatching! The children were amazed. 🐣
Our Scholastic UK book fair has arrived! The children were very excited to visit and see all of the books. Please come along each day this week from 3.30-3.45 to have a look and maybe even purchase some!
To conclude our topic on “do dragon’s exist” nursery held a Medieval Day! The children enjoyed dressing up and dancing, we also all sat together to have a banquet.

Year 3 worked collaboratively to divide numbers into groups by flexible partitioning using methods of their choice this morning.

Nursery have been exploring the topic "Do dragons exist?" We have been learning about Knights, castles and dragons. They also created their own fire breathing dragons!
In Nursery, we have been celebrating Chinese New year, looking at lanterns, Chinese dancing and attempting to use chopsticks.

Year 3 had an excellent time exploring and classifying different rock types in Geography as part of their 'Rocks, Relics and Rumbles' project last week.

Year 3 were working very hard in English this morning, writing diary entries as 'Excitable Edgar'!
Christmas has arrived in nursery, we have a Santa's workshop, a winter den and we have the arrival of Jingle the elf.
It has been lovely to see so many children enjoying the clubs we run. Arts & Crafts proved a real hit last night!
