๐ฑ๐ฅ **HELP US GROW! WEโVE BEEN SELECTED FOR TESCO FRUIT & VEG GRANTS!** ๐ฅ๐ฑ
Weโre absolutely delighted to share that **St Andrewโs C of E School Nuthurst** has been selected to take part in the **Tesco Fruit & Veg Grants AugustโNovember 2026 voting round!** ๐
Our project, **โAllotment Sessionsโ**, will give our children the opportunity to grow their own fruit and vegetables, learn about where food comes from, develop practical skills and enjoy spending time outdoors. ๐ฟ๐ฉโ๐พ๐จโ๐พ
๐ต **The blue voting tokens are NOW in local Tesco supermarkets and Express stores!**
We would be incredibly grateful if our **families, friends and local community** could get behind us and help us collect as many votes as possible. ๐
Weโre a **small school competing against a much larger primary school**, so **every single blue token really could make a difference!** ๐
๐ **If youโre shopping at Tesco, please remember to pop your blue token in the box for St Andrewโs C of E School Nuthurst!**
And please **share this post with your friends, family, neighbours and anyone else who might be able to support us.** The more people who know, the better our chances of making our allotment project a reality! ๐ฑ๐ฅ๐
**Letโs grow something amazing together!** ๐ป๐

Yesterday we attended our Foundation Service at St Andrew's Church to celebrate our wonderful Year 6 leavers.
During the service, we also presented our annual cups to one child in each year group in recognition of their outstanding effort and achievement throughout the year.
Congratulations to all of our award winners, and we wish our Year 6 pupils every success as they begin their next adventure. We are so proud of you all! ๐๐

๐ฟ **Another wonderful Forest School session!** ๐ฟ
We made the most of the beautiful sunshine by staying cool beneath the woodland canopy, where the children enjoyed a morning full of creativity, exploration and outdoor fun.
Our adventures included:
๐ซ Making delicious **no-fire s'mores**
๐ชต Creating **wood slice coasters** for someone special
๐ฆ Building imaginative **Dinosaur Islands**
๐ณ Playing **woodland hide & seek**
๐ฆ Making **bird feeders** (which some children discovered also made tasty snack bracelets! ๐)
๐จ Painting with **natural colours** using paprika, turmeric and clay
As always, the children developed their creativity, teamwork, confidence and resilience while strengthening their connection with nature.
Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to many more woodland adventures!

๐ THANK YOU! ๐
What an incredible afternoon we had at our Summer Fete & Colour Run! ๐
A huge thank you to everyone who came along, took part, volunteered, donated and supported our events. Thanks to your generosity and enthusiasm, we raised an amazing ยฃ3,168.15! ๐
Every penny raised will go towards providing fantastic opportunities and memorable experiences for our children.
It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces enjoying the games, stalls, refreshments and, of course, the Colour Run! The laughter, fun and colourful memories made the day truly special.
A heartfelt thank you also goes to our amazing PTA volunteers, staff, sponsors and everyone who helped before, during and after the event. Your time, hard work and support made the day possible, and we couldn't have done it without you.
Thank you once again for helping make this year's Summer Fete & Colour Run such a fantastic success. We hope you had as much fun as we did, and we can't wait to do it all again next year! โค๏ธ๐

Pevensey class enjoyed a day at West Wittering beach completing fieldwork for our coastlines topic. We talked to a lifeguard about how to stay safe on the beach, built over one hundred sandcastles to see the tide coming in and even made some fantastic beach art inspired by Andy Goldsworthy's work. We also learnt about the different types of beach management to prevent coastal erosion and protect the important salt marsh habitat.
