Kookaburra Playgroup caters for children aged 1-5 years old. We have a purpose built building for children of all abilities and are open during term time.
Kookaburra Playgroup was established in August 2008. We are situated behind the scout hut at the top of Hills Farm Lane by the playing field, and have fully qualified members of staff. We are Ofsted registered for children aged 1-5 years old, and welcome visits by prior arrangement, during opening hours of 8.30am - 3.30pm Monday to Friday. We are also registered to take 2 year old funding, 3-5 year old 15 hour funding and the new 30 hours funding for 3-5 year old's.

We've tried to keep the children cool today with a hydration station 💧 and giving them cool shady ⛱️ areas in the garden should they wish to play outside whilst our indoor temperature 🌡 reach a new level 🔥 🌞 ☀️ 🥵

Parents and carers, this week is set to be an absolute scorcher 🌞 so please remember to put suncream on your children before they attend Playgroup and dress them appropriately for the weather with plenty of spare clothes for any wet play 💦💦 we have out. Thank you

Today the children spotted some caterpillars 🐛crawling along our flowers🌻🌺 in the garden so they made them a home in our bug finder until we can research what kind of caterpillars🐛 they are and what butterflies 🦋 they will turn into.

To celebrate World Bee Day 🐝 today we have been making honeycomb 🍯 paintings and think they look great
