Our Martial Arts classes use positive rewards and recognising children’s achievements so that they’re encouraged to set goals and aim high. At Kung Fu Schools we understand that learning a martial art is more than just learning to kick and punch. We focus very much on developing our students mentally as well as physically. Our training will help your child to concentrate and focus and will also teach them the importance of discipline and respect. We pride ourselves on being able to offer fun and engaging classes, which will allow your children to grow in confidence and build new friendships. Our teaching style focuses on positive reinforcement which we believe boosts self-esteem and keeps the children enthusiastic. Learning Kung Fu teaches children the importance of learning to respect others, discipline, the ability to stay focused and how to persevere. We believe that these are great life lessons that will help your child through all aspects of their life, both in and outside the Kung Fu classroom.

This one made my day. 🥋

Yesterday we had two brothers in class waiting for their classes to start one from Little Dragons, one from Junior Warriors they decided to help each other. They got on the mat together and started showing each other what they'd each been learning in their own classes.

Same hall. Different programmes.

Watching them practicing with the sticks, sharing techniques, supporting each other that's exactly what Martial Arts is all about. It's not just about kicks and punches, it's about the people in the room and what they bring out of each other.

So proud of these two guys. Keep it up! 💪

🥋 GETTING TO KNOW YOUR INSTRUCTORS 🥋

Guys, meet Stephen, your Head Instructor and the heart behind Kung Fu Schools Horsham!

You probably know him from the School, but here's the real Stephen outside the classes...

🎸 Music taste? Rock and heavy metal all the way. He has also been fully converted to Taylor Swift and Sabrina Carpenter by his daughter and wife and honestly? He's not even sorry about it 😂

🎬 Friday nights? Takeaway and a family movie on the sofa. No fuss, just the good stuff.

🎥 Films? Action all the way, loves a good Last Action Hero moment, has seen pretty much every martial arts film ever made, and never says no to a comedy.

🚗 Loves cars. Seriously get him talking about cars and you won't stop him for a while!

And if you had to sum Stephen up in one character? Michelangelo. Yep, the fun-loving, laid-back Ninja Turtle who always brings the laughs. He sees no issue with this comparison.

This is the guy teaching your kids every week and we reckon you're in pretty great hands. 💙

Great Kung Fu is being made right here in Horsham every week and it's not just for the little ones! 🥋

For our Junior Warriors (ages 8-12), it's structured progression, discipline, confidence, and yes weapons training is part of the journey! 😄 Watching these guys grow into themselves is honestly one of the best parts of what we do.

What an amazing afternoon with our Junior classes today. The Leaders and Junior Warriors came together today with an great afternoon of awesome Kung Fu and celebrating their grades. It was fantastic to see everyone cheering each other on.
