Our recent rainbow 'STEM' experiment .......

Ale and Jaxon were interested in bakery shops recently.
We set one up in the home corner and then decided where better to go to see a real bakery shop than 'Coughlans' opposite nursery!
We made a list of what everyone wanted, we took a bag and Mrs W's credit card and off we went!
We looked at the doughnuts and cake, we also looked at some more healthy options such as the bread and the very fresh looking salad bar! We saw fire extinguishers like the ones we have at nursery. We also saw some unhealthy fizzy drinks, and the price lists with the numbers on the wall.
We bought some cakes and doughnuts and one of the lovely loaves of wholemeal bread and the lady serving gave us a free baby cino; What a treat!
When we got back to nursery we enjoyed a small portion of the yummy treats with everyone and sang 5 current buns in a bakers shop.
